Your image of Obama's short form birth certificate looking at it from the back; Where is the seal?

I don't see the seal on the front or back view.

What is going on? Do I need new glasses, because I can't see the Hawaii seal on Obama's Fight the Smears site, either on the front or the back.

I thought that the short form certificate on the FactCheck site was supposed to be the exact, same short form certificate I see on Obama's Fight the Smears site. I don't know about others here, but the two certificates sure look different to me.

Just wondering: Why did Obama order a short form back in 2007, when we now know that right up to recent March 2011, a person had the choice of ordering either a short or long form.

Does anyone seriously believe that Obama lost his birth certificate and he needed a new one? Give me a break.

And if Obama did lose his birth certificate, why didn't he choose to order the more detailed long form, or both forms?

My theory: Obama ordered a short form instead of a long form because he needed it to display it on the internet.

Obama knew that if he displayed his long form birth certificate---the one he already had or the one he could have ordered from Hawaii---his political career could have been destroyed once the public saw some information on the certificate that would have exposed Obama as a liar and a fraud concerning what he had previously told the public about his background.

There is not evidence that he ever ordered the COLB shown on the net. The HDOH has been asked about that and they have refused to say that they ever issued one. There is no legal reason not to if they did.

I also wonder why the certificate number is blacked out? It would reveal nothing personal. It would not be subject to identity theft or any misuse that I can think of. Other than verifying the legitimacy of the document itself by checking back with HDOH records I don't know of any other use for the certificate number.
