I can imagine a lot of women “going off”, if they saw what appeared to them to be a male pervert dressed as a woman in the ladies room, especially if they saw his/her penis.
When someone is, correctly or not, identified as a sex offender, of any of the list of “indecent exposure”, “molester”, to “rapist”, all bets are off.
The two female attackers are believed to be 18 and *14* years old.
What would the typical man do if his 14 year old daughter hastily exited the ladies room and said there was a man in there with his penis out? If he then went in there and saw a penis on what looked to be a woman, in most of the US, he would not be thinking “transgender”, but, “I am going to beat the ever-loving poop out of you, Mister!”
And the same with the 18 year old woman, again, in most of the US.
In their mind, the transgender was being perverted to a 14 year old girl. And that’s a-beatin’.
I wish FreeRepublic had a “like” button. That’s about what I’ve been trying to say.
That's quite an 'imagination' you have there.
You sound like you're auditioning for the part of the ethically-challenged lawyer the perps are bound to get (probably at public expense).
If the cops who wrote the police report had your kind of 'imagination', I 'imagine' they would have sided with the lowlife scumbag perps and the creepy employee (since fired) that enabled them, by writing that the victim simply slipped and fell in the bathroom.
Stay tuned, the facts are not bearing out your helpless-14-year-old-just-defending-herself scenario.
I suppose if you were there you'd join in on the beating -- or maybe made a video so you could put it on YouTube?
You could call it "Beating The Ever-Living Poop out Of A Tranny Me And My Homies Caught In The Bathroom"

there's nothing self evidently "male" about this woman, that would make someone react with fear or violence, and she is in fact post-op so she had no other legal recourse than to use that bathroom.
Quite likely, the gender factor was not even the cause of the beating (and thus not a "hate crime") because everyone speaking here except the camera-man refers to her as "she" (along with derogatory terms for females). Even at the end one of the bystanders says "she's having a seizure" even though the camera guy has repeatedly said "that's a man"
in the police report the witnesses refer to her as "she" and "the woman"
There's not really a credible case that these people saw her as "a man in a dress perving in the ladies room"
irrespective of anyone's hindsight opinion about whether her surgery makes her a "real" woman.
As an aside, one of the things I asked last night was - where does a post-op woman have the legal right to pee, if not in the ladies room?
