A Baltimore County McDonald's owner announced on Saturday afternoon that an employee who taped the violent beating of a customer a video that went viral Friday had been fired.
"My first and foremost concern is with the victim," franchise owner Mitchell McPherson said in a statement, adding that action might be taken against other restaurant workers as well. "I'm as shocked and disturbed by this assault as anyone would be. The behavior displayed in the video is unfathomable and reprehensible."
The video of a beating the Rosedale restaurant went viral Friday, garnering hundreds of thousands of views on websites and prompting the fast-food giant to issue a statement condemning the incident.

The three-minute clip was apparently first posted on YouTube, then taken down by administrators who said it violated the site's policies. But it popped back up on other sites and was ultimately linked from the popular Drudge Report, which gave it top billing for much of the day.
County police confirmed that the attack occurred April 18 in the 6300 block of Kenwood Ave. Police said the 14-year-old girl has been charged as a juvenile, while charges were pending against an 18-year-old woman.
Equality Maryland said the victim is a transgender woman and called on state Attorney General Douglas F. Gansler to step in and investigate the case as a hate crime. Police and prosecutors said they did not know whether the victim is a transgender woman.

My post isn’t even remotely connected to your situation. I, too, appreciate having the family restrooms as I have two young twin daughters and being a man has caused me to take them into men’s restrooms, when they were younger. Even now that they are seven I have to trust that they are ok when they go into a women’s restroom on their own.
You jump to simple conclusions, teacher.
I agree 100%. They should not have been permitted to beat the living snot out of the guy.
As long as we're talking about unacceptable behaviors, men dressing as women and entering the ladies room is another.
Maybe we need 4 or 5 bathrooms.
"Hate crimes" are crimes with a layer of thought crime added. The thought crime accusations are usually only directed toward whites.
I really don't give a rat's butt if she/he/it was a man or woman or transexual transvestite from Transylvania. The victim is a human and didn't deserve a beating, let alone one resulting in grand mal siezures and attempted murder. Any real man would have protected this victim, out of a sense of justice and compassion for a fellow human being.
Of course there were none at the scene, only cowardly, lawsuit-averse, possibly racist McDonald's employees and one little old lady with a sense of decency.
Secondly you said as “I was calling 911”. You would have stayed there if so until He or She was arrested or at least charged. Notice they did not call 911 and ran off as cowards as the victim was seizing.
Thirdly Had it been a real sexual assaults against the girls I would expect the Males in McD would have taken a more active roll instead of standing around laughing. They would have defended the girls honor and the Victim would have probably died.
Yes, what you said.
“She says that she had a sex change operation.”
Then it’s unlikely this incident had anything to do with gender.
Most likely they got into an argument over something and it escalated.
“There is a statement in the police report from one of the perps that this was what happened, so it isnt speculation and has been post on several of the many other threads about this incident.”
I went back and read the police report (link above) and did not see where the suspects beat the victim up because “he” was using the ladies’ room.
In fact, during the police interview the police record has the suspects calling the victim “she” and “the woman”.
IMHO after reviewing again the police report and watching the victim’s interview, I believe the victim was assaulted for dissing the suspects.
Not being there, I have no idea if this started in the ladies’ room, as a male employee taped it and certainly he was not in that room. Second, I have not commented on the guilt of the two girls. It is most certainly battery. I am not sure of the extent of injuries. I have only heard speculation of others who watched the video closer than I did. There has been an arrest, as there should be. HOWEVER, I did comment on men in the ladies’ room...in general. I don’t like it. If you want to enter and taunt woman, you may not fare so well. Beware.
Years ago i saw this guy all over this woman in a club, boy did he have the hots for the chick. I thought about telling him she was a he, but the little woman would not let me. Seems he worked at the shop were she got her hair done.
“Ok. So were the perps justified in stomping this person into the floor for the crime of having insulted their dignity?
I think not.”
Please don’t attribute words or thoughts to me that I haven’t expressed. I made no comment about the perps being justified or about the beating. I stated what was in the police report. I don’t appreciate the character smear my insinuating I was ok with this. I think this crime is horrific and unjustifiable. Assault is assault, period, and is a crime regardless the reason. I’m an RN and this is the antithesis of what my life has stood for.
Mentally that’s insane
That doesn’t make them a female.
“I went back and read the police report (link above) and did not see where the suspects beat the victim up because he was using the ladies room.”
I read a quote the 14 year old made to the police that he/she was trying to use the restroom, so it may have been from a police interview. I can’t currently find the article source, but it has been mentioned in other threads, too. After reading so many of these threads, the bad information starts getting old. It took almost 2 days to finally clear up that, yes, the person was transgender. Take it or leave it, I’m just trying to share from my hours of reading these threads.
Referring to a small, one-person restroom, not a multi-person one; it’s done all the time.
No one was in the bathroom, read the police report, if you want to go gang bang some queers have at it. But be prepaired to do the time.
