President Barack Obama this week said Jesus death and resurrection on Easter puts everything else in perspective, at a White House event that showcased his increasing comfort with discussing his faith.
Using the kind of personal religious language that he had once shied away from in public, Obama spoke of the pain and the scorn and the shame of the cross in an Easter prayer breakfast for about 150 guests and staff.
And were reminded that in that moment, (Jesus) took on the sins of the world past, present and future and he extended to us that unfathomable gift of grace and salvation through his death and resurrection, Obama said.
The Easter event displayed the presidents willingness to engage religion on his own terms, even as he has decided not to be a regular churchgoer or fully embrace public events like the annual National Day of Prayer.
The Easter breakfast Obamas second, and following a Passover Seder at the White House on Monday also reflects an ongoing effort to combat lingering doubts about the presidents faith

And let me guess ... the same media that made fun of Gov. Perry’s call to prayer for rain praised Obama for this, right?
Sniff, sniff....do I smell an election coming up?
“showcased his increasing comfort with discussing his faith.”
He must be takin’ lessons from someone.
“Just tell them this Junior! They’ll think you mean it! Trust me!”
Taqiyyah?
Obama carries around a grab-bag of “faith” that he can draw from to cater to whatever circumstance/audience he is reading to (off old-faithful TOTUS). Because he is already back in “campaign mode” (did he ever get out of it?), we can expect a lot more. Were he to speak to a muslim audience, guess which background he would pull out then...
Just a bit of clarification
I would like to see just one person “in person”, in front of the media, ask Obama a simple “christian” related question and watch in amazement that he doesnt know the answer....
He is being coached when he discuss anything Christian related...
What single evidence is there that he is anyway remotely Christian? Because he says so?
Ah yes. One of the pillars of Islam and Liberals.
This isn't a declaration of faith. It's just a statement that we have been told (Obama said "reminded") that Jesus took on the sins of the world and gave us grace and salvation through His death and resurrection. If he were confessing his own faith he would have said something like this:
And I believe that in that moment, (Jesus) took on the sins of the world past, present and future and he extended to us that unfathomable gift of grace and salvation through his death and resurrection.
He may in fact believe that, but I won't believe he does until I hear him say so. "My Muslim faith...Christian faith" doesn't cut it for me, although what I think doesn't matter in Obama's long run.
Note: in islam they only recognize other brothers which is very clear it means other Muslims of the same school. It is very important the Hadith does not recognize kaffirs
So now candidate Obama is presenting bonafide Christian credentials. Yeah, sure. It is hard to decide which is the biggest liar, Bill Clinton or Obama. They are both masters at it:
To know how to deceive is the knowledge of kings. One may employ any means against ones enemies- Cardinal Richelieu
no, he lied by omission which is gray line.
Jesus is a profit to Islam but his words stop when Mohammad's words started.
Good luck with that. They don’t even ask him how he did in school or where he came from they like it that he is a mystery. They don’t want to know they only want to see a good image of him.
Major barf alter
So disgusted I can't even type!
