NYC board: Trump hasn't voted in primary since '89

The New York City Board of Elections says Donald Trump hasn't voted in any primary elections for more than 21 years.
The board says the last time the possible Republican presidential candidate voted in a primary election was in the 1989 primary for mayor. That's when Rudy Giuliani beat businessman Ronald Lauder. He also skipped the 2002 general election.
TV station NY1 was the first to report the information.
Trump told NY1 that it was wrong and he has voted in every general election.
His lawyer Michael Cohen said Saturday that "for one of the greatest international businessmen who travels all over the country and the world, his voting record is very, very good."

Can they tell us how many dead people have voted for dems? NYC is 70/30 Dems to GOP. They don't need to play games here to win elections. This is the main reason we have gotten RINO mayors for the last 20 years. The liberals who line up feel free to act like total fruitcakes, because they don't think they have a snowball's chance in hell of losing.

Again, AP is up to their usual tricks, guilt by association.
While I probably wouldn't vote for Trump, his failure to vote in primaries is not a deal-killer for running for office.
I didn't see any mention of the general elections.

you said:

I doubt they had to “make up” for Donald’s vote. They normally vote the same way. Ahem.

You'd be surprised how many people take this seriously -- those who think of themselves as "thoughtful voters" (but in reality only pay attention the last week before every election). I saw serious poll tracking in the last campaign showing that this issue was devastating to Meg Whitman among the great "undecided" voters.
(Please, no one respond by telling me how stupid that line of thinking is and why getting stuck with Jerry Brown or Barack Obama is far worse. I am highlighting how important it is to OTHER people who I have no control over.)

If the AP and all these other supposed investigators took a look at Obama the way they are looking into Trump , he would be back in Hawaii driving a garbage truck.

Really strange that they can find out something like this about Donald Trump, yet can’t even find Obama’s middle school records.
His SS # would be a great starting point . . .

Why is this public information? It’s nobodies business who you vote for and I think it should be nobodies business if you vote or not.
To: presidio9
Not to be seen as a defense of Trump, but does anyone remember ANY story like this being written about potential Democrat candidates? What was Barack Obama's primary voting record?
Serving almost 25-years in the military, I can promise you that I missed PLENTY of primary elections. Does that somehow negatively reflect on my civic duty?
