To me the key here is, knowing the controversy here, no one (with few exceptions) wants to correct the problem by doing the two things necessary to keep this from happening again: (1) requiring a formal vetting and proof of qualifications for office; and (2) tightening the voting process to prevent fraud in the counting and casting of votes.
One must ask, what would be the motive for not correcting the problem? Who are against correcting the problem?
We are engaged in a dynamic struggle for the heart and soul of a way of life, and we are losing the battle for freedom and individuality.
If we have to believe in collective salvation, please let me know which organizations I need to join in order to get to heaven, and what are the minimum requirements for membership.

Amen and amen! And we're up against more than one enemy. The Left is one combatant but Islam is another. It's really a two to one fight. And once one of us is eliminated the other two will fight it out between themselves.
One reason we are so far behind in the fight is that we haven't even owned up to the fact that we're in a fight! Two of the parties in this war are in it for real, the third is busy denying there even IS a fight.

I see only one or two people on the horizon that, IMHO, have what it takes to first of all recognize we're in a war, then see just how serious the battle is and finally DO what it takes to prevail. SarahCudda and Herman Caine lead the pack for my money. My Mom used to constantly warn about winning a battle and losing the war. I see a lot of today's issues in that light. Anything other than defeating the Left and Islam jihad runs the risk of winning the battle and losing the war.
You just know the other two combatants in this war love it when we ignore them and the threat they pose and go after social issues or fighting over saving a paltry few billions of dollars while spending trillions.
