Glad you are well, and hard at work. We thank you for your service to our country.
Hello to all my friends at the canteen.. I always feel like a black sheep when I finally post as I ALWAYS have good intentions to be more frequent in attendance, participation etc.
So many screennames here give me a smile with memories of your love, devotion to USA/military & wild sense of humor. Friends from not only the canteen but other sites and many of you I have met face to face along the way.
The thread & music posters always put forth so much effort for attractive and appealing threads. Thank you
Prayers...for OH so many...Tas, you especially today. Yet another sister in harms way with cancer... Also adding Mrs. Nooseman, who has been on my mind recently.
Life gives us so many ups & downs & seems for many of us to be a continual struggle. For me most often is just kicking back & giving God control again.
Winter & spring have been exceptionally crappy here in NE Ohio... I know people have had things worse, but golly... enough already! I still am doing the $$ juggling act. Trying to pay the essentials of home here with 1/3 of the needs covered.
My mind feels young but oh the body, tells the story. My back experiences the weather, and all the cutsie ailments from spurs, stenosis, arthritis, herniation.. fun
I have this great sleep number bed.. a gift.. still in boxes in family room, where it will be set up. Problem is space. I have for sale all of my mom’s invalid things which take up most of the room. so far no bites on equipment.
well, my pups are fine & relatively happy I think. They would like a couple BIG outings a day & now they are lucky if they get one every few days.. the rain/storms/mud are not happy things for me with outdoor couple hour outings.
Hope you all have a wonderful Easter with peace & hope for your life.
