This was a Little Richard song covered by the squeaky clean Pat Boone. Little Richard wasn't at all miffed by the cover because he had writing credit on the song, and he got royalties anyway.

The song as recorded was the cleanest version possible. The original lyrics were, "Tutti frutti, good booty."
