There's nothing to be jealous of. My taters are rioting though - I guess planting during the March new moon was a real good idea. I've already "mounded" them once and they're as big as they were in August of last year. The beans and peppers are just starting to sprout and I sowed half the corn patch last week and sowed some sunflowers along the edges of Mikey's club house and sage in the window box. As soon as I move the dirt pile I'll plant the rest of the corn - behind the "clay causeway" I built for the mini corn maze in case I get to see Mike this October.

I've planted strawberries and tomato plants in new beds by the fence to keep me from having to weed whack the chain link. The pear and peach trees have already bloomed and little fruits are startin' to bud. The grapes and blueberries haven't taken off yet, but we've had rain two weekends in a row and you can hear stuff growing!

Wow! That’s just awesome, Drumbo! My hubby had sweet taters
once or twice. The first time he planted the little plug just
to see what would happen. Well! Lo and behold when he pulled
it up in the early fall, there was a HUGE clump of the best-
tasting sweet potatoes on the end of that stem and we enjoyed
them for quite a while. Some of them were big and some were
tiny.

Keep sowin’n’growin’, Farmer Drum! :)
