McCain said the rebels were his ‘heros.’
Can we survive?
Well, I guess the only good thing about Obama winning is that McCain didn’t become POTUS.
2008 was the worst election EVER.
I hope the peace sign flashing, pizza eating “rebels” continue to get their asses kicked. They can request the SEIU and AFL-CIO bring in some of their “brothers” for reinforcements. America could sure stand to lose some of those bastards.
Why the heck do these people not recognize when they are due to go home?
PLEASE send McAmnesty to an old-folks home.
Here he is cheering for the future Muslim Brotherhood/Al Queda leaders of Libya. Our terrorist enemies of the day after tomorrow.
Idiot.
"I just need someone to love me, BamBam."
Certainly a no fly zone, Palin said. I hate to say, jeez, more troops on the ground. You know send more of our brave young men and women over there in Libya. When yes, 41 years of Gadhafi. Hes got to go.
McCain, you’re an ugly old woman.....break a hip.
McCain and Obama are two peas in a pod.
He got my vote but I’m not sorry McCain failed in his bids to become president.
As I posted a couple of times yesterday, Germany's Spiegel Online ran this story early yesterday.
They give more background on McCain's quote than I've seen in the links on FR.
McCain was talking to reporters outside the hotel when a reporter asked him point blank if he was concerned that al-Qaeda was known to be among the rebels. McCain's answer was "Why should it? They (the rebels) are my heroes".
Spiegel hasn't pulled that quote from their story.
I know Spiegel has reporters on the ground there because they have published some interesting reports from inside the rebel circle of operation.
I'm guessing the quote is accurate, so McCain doesn't care if we're helping al-Qaeda elements in Libya.
Since the 'rebels are my heroes' quote was linked to the question about al-Qaeda, I'm also wondering why I haven't seen that mentioned in US media reports. Maybe it has somewhere, so if someone has seen it let me know.
