A Public Policy Polling survey this week showed that 48 percent of Iowa Republicans don't believe President Obama was born in the United States. Donald Trump’s potential presidential candidacy has support despite — or maybe because of — his “asking questions” about the president’s actual birthplace. In May, WND Books will publish “Where's the Birth Certificate?,” which, as I write, is No. 2 on Amazon.com. The author is Jerome Corsi, the man behind “Unfit for Command” and the “swiftboating” of John Kerry. The connection is important: “Birtherism” may be to the 2012 election what the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth were to 2004.

We passed the usefulness of a long form BC for this Barry the Bastard long ago. A forged COLB was posted for America’s gullible, but quickly the purposed erasurte of every credible shred of this OSB’s life history means that now we require his college records, including his methods of tuition payment and how he regitered/what status, and his extensive passport records. This lying Klown Bastard is a democrap party shaft up the rear of the Republic, meanrt to end the Constitutional Republic the Democrats didn’t like any longer beacuse it stood in the way of their criminal enterprises and rule by federal fiat.
Isn’t it amazing how in the liberal mindset the term “Swiftboating” is now a synonym for an unwarranted and baseless claim, when it was the complete inverse in fact - the Swift Boat guys SERVED with Kerry and were the ones who knew what actually happened, rather than the self-created mythology.
Now, they are making “Birther” synonymous with some sort of unwarranted attack on Obama, when he never has, in fact, revealed his birth certificate and there still remains the question of “natural born citizen” in any event.
Kerry never did reveal his military records. Obama never has revealed any records. The parallels between Swift Boat and Birther/Proofer is very close in a manner that is 180 degrees opposed from what the author thinks!!
But the snowball was rolling and suddenly the MSM freaked out a lit a fire under Kerry who then tried to dispute the facts.
As we know, Kerry got beat bad by the book and the Swift Boat Veterans.
Now, the MSM finds itself back in that same predicament of: do they ignore this new book and the bc issue as much as possible? - and how much does Obama himself need to speak out against it and how often should he do so?
This is going to be interesting to watch. One thing is certain, their secret polling is in overdrive.

I'm perfectly willing to believe that he was born in Honolulu. I don't believe he meets the "natural born citizen" requirement for a different reason--his father was not a citizen of the US when he was born. But the legal explanation for why he is not a "natural born citizen" is too hard for most people to understand--and 90% of lawyers are Democrats (rough estimate) and they would spout sophistries to obscure the legal issue.
The media is trying to make this into a major issue in order to help Obama--to allow them to portray his critics as crackpots and to divert attention from other issues.
Sgt. Harris of passport breach fame took a bullet for the birther cause. Is it time for a martyr rally-cry?
