actually i thought it was a pretty good response. not sure what you exp[ect them to say at this point.

I want Mc Donalds to say something like:
We will close this franchise until the investigation is complete. Furthermore,
McDonalds extends every sympathy and offer of support to the assault VICTIM and will work tirelessly to fire and prosecute ANY employee heard or observed aiding the attackers by warning them of police, or by the taking of video, etc. We will NOT tolerate in any way, this type of VIOLENCE in our workplace and will do everything legally possible to make sure justice is served; justice to the victim, justice to the attackers and any administrative and punitive measures at our legal disposal in terms of our own employees.
We as a company are OUTRAGED!
(Clean up the grammar a bit, use perfect English and this MIGHT be a good start.)
Wouldn’t be surprised if Holder provides the full force of DOJ legal defense to make sure these two upstanding young women get all the legal protection they need.
Here's what I'd expect McDonald's to say (although they never would):
We at McDonald's are deeply ashamed by the behavior of our cowardly employees during this attack.
We have fired those employees. We will of course pay all the medical bills of the injured woman. Furthermore, we offer a $50000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the criminals involved.
