There’s a lot of buzz in the (small but meaningful) conservative contingent in Madistan about how the fallout from the protests is and will continue to hurt the local economy. Tourism, shopping, even visits to the Peoples House - who wants to put their family in jeopardy that some crazy unionista will start screaming and swearing at them?
I live an easy drive away from Madison but I’ll be avoiding trips to the Workers Paradise from now on.
Sometimes, it is fun to go into the Moscow on Lake Mendota to mess around with the moonbats. I did it for three years as a UW student.
