Two days ago, Matt Drudge linked to a new book by Jerome Corsi, unflinchingly titled Where’s the Birth Certificate? The book immediately leapt to number one on Amazon.com, where it has remained ever since. The media has shown its usual incredulity at the "indisputable" stupidity of the American people. How could so many people question President Obama’s birthplace? How could they wonder about his origins? Are they all simply racist?
The answer, of course, is that Americans are desperately seeking an answer to a simple question: why does President Obama appear to be so un-American? The term un-American here is not synonymous with anti-American (though Obama has been that on occasion); instead, it merely signifies that President Obama is unconcerned with typical American principles and traditions. He sees capitalism as selfish and evil, religion as dangerous and oppressive; he sees the Constitution as antiquated and entrepreneurialism as exploitative.
He is the representative of the Fareed Zakaria ideology at work, celebrating the post-American world.
When America elects a president like this, many Americans begin wondering how it happened. There are always two answers to such difficult questions: the first is optimistically externally-oriented, while the second is realistically reflexive.
Every member of Congress is guilty of either

or guilty of misprision of a felony.

happened, and what is happening.
As an insurance policy, we need to win as many Senate setas as possible. Preferably with Tea Party candidates.
Agree wholeheartedly! Since only 1/3 of the Senate is up for reelection every 2 years, the elections of 2010, 2012 AND 2014 are necessary to get enough conservatives in the Senate to complement the House and provide a CHECK on the Executive and Judicial branches.
Even that might not be enough, but without it there is no real hope, imo.

And the breakdown of Senate seats up for grabs in 2012 is in our favor. I don't know the exact numbers but I think something like 10 Republican seats are up and 23 RAT seats.
I know at least a couple of Republicans are not running for re-election but there are more RATS that aren't which makes those seats even more vulnerable to, heh-heh, change.

Not at all. The voting bloc that put Obama in office was a new voting bloc probably not seen before: the moderate/independent, white Americans who suffered from white guilt and felt so good and self-righteous voting for a black guy. Their 'thoughts; didn't go much beyond that during 2008.
Hopefully, most have recovered from their temporary delusions.

I also think that there is an awakening among Americans that the media is covering for the democrats and intentionally trying to distort and ridicule this issue.
In reality the media is supposed to inquire and demand answers. In the case of Bush they even fabricated documents in order to pursue an agenda. In the case of McCain they took the issue of his Constitutional elgibility very seriously calling it an issue among Constitutional scholars. Chucky Schumer is even on tape demanding that anyone who seeks to be President MUST release ALL of their past records in regards to McCain.
But in the case of Obama they simply ridicule anyone seeking answers as to his history.
I tink this is even starting to disturb some democrats being that it is extremely blatant and obvious to all that the media lies and is covering for democrats. Why not resolve this issue and treat it seriously? The media and everyone in the establishment seems scared of this issue and that does not sit well with any real Americans.
It’s amazing to me the loyalty to a party over the good of the country.

Obama and the dems have had 2-3 years to forge and bribe. I am not sure we will ever really know. My focus now is not to dethrone obama so much but keep hammering this issue to force congress to go on record one way or the other and try to prevent even more egregious violations in the future. If the dems feel they can succeed with this fraud they will go even further next time. We have to fight to ensure the constitution itself is taken seriously. Congress is acting like it doesn’t even matter. ticks me off.
