She threw a hand made card back at her child and said it was not good enough? Wow. Doesn’t make for great childhood memories. I think there’s more to life than being able to attend Harvard.
I’ll simply say happiness is more important than achievement.
What is best in life ?
to crush your enemies, to see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of their women
If attending Harvard helps that, then so be it.
There are many forms of satisfaction.
