I think there’s a lot more to this than meets the eye.
When Ensign inexplicably voted for the repeal of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” in January and then exited the chamber with a frown and without comment, I knew the jig was up. Somebody’s got something on Ensign, and it’s more than just this “extramarital affair” that everybody already knew about anyway.
Good riddance to bad rubbish.
What’s his replacement going to be like?

Glory be and on Good Friday no less. Good to see this sleaze gone. Nothing worse than a hypocrite no matter the party. Family values????? Huh! Nothing worse than cheaters in my book and then paying her off was the worst of all. Donors basically paid for him to have sex.....how gross. Anyway now who on Earth could take his place. Hopefully a true family person with real values and complete conservative as well. Yes very difficult to find these days.....Another one who needs to leave is that dastardly Vitter who was just reelected. Sad that Republicans are as bad as Democrats in this area.
Importantly, the governor of Nevada is Republican, as is the State senate. However, is Brian Sandoval, the governor, a conservative?
It is all for the better he step down now as the scandal would make him vulnerable in 2012. Now at least the Republican governor can give the Republicans a leg up in the race by appointing a Republican that will not have the liability of a scandal to answer to in 2012.

The jacka** Knows he is toast for a lot of reasons, most of which we will never know about. A few years ago I was an ardent supporter his, but when he turned out to be just another Damn RINO with 0 morals I disowned him as fast as I could.

Who will the governor appoint to finish out the term? Will it be Sharron Angle or that House member who threw his hat into the ring?
