As far as food goes, just an example, it pays to shop.
I buy (and put in storage) those Knorr side-dish packets. I usually (actually, always) buy them at a big, low price distributor here in the PNW. 88 cents a shot.
They are $1.79 at the closest supermarket.
I’m itchin to go back down the hill and pick up another case or three!
