While the jury is still out on Trump (for me), at the very least he’s speaking about things that need to be talked about and showing what a leader really looks like, IMO.

Compared to the last 2 presidents, he’s got a lot of things that spark my interest. He’s not politically correct. He’s not afraid to speak from the gut, boldly and without remorse. He’s not intimidated by the MSM or liberals (or anyone else for that matter). He KNOWS what he’s doing when it comes to running a business and being in a CEO position. He has experience working with foreign countries - trade, business, etc. His name IS very well known.

Now, there is A LOT of time between now and Nov 2012, and we don’t even know for sure, if he is even running for President. But considering the other options right now....Romney....Huckabee....Gingrich? I’d take Trump. He may have been liberal about things 10 years ago, but that doesn’t mean he still is now.

On the other hand, it also doesn’t mean he’s being fully honest about that either. Time will tell. I just think we need a straight talking, anti-BS, anti-PC, intelligent, EXPERIENCED go getter in the WH. If nothing else, he’s showing what we need in the GOP candidate, to be successful, IMO.

“He may have been liberal about things 10 years ago, but that doesn’t mean he still is now.”

I’m sorry, but there is no Statute of Limitations on stupid boneheaded Liberal comments, like the one made as little as four years ago, when he said Bush was the worse President ever.
In your way of thinking, we should also give Romney a pass. After all his Massachusetts health care insurance reform law, was enacted waaaaay back in 2006. All water under the bridge now, Right?
