Mike Huckabee has issued a sharp response to Glenn Beck’s derisive comments about the former Arkansas governor, saying the “inept” talk show host’s remarks “blow up in his face.”
On Wednesday, Beck slapped the dreaded “progressive” label on the potential presidential candidate, saying Huckabee “is the perfect progressive candidate for the Republican Party.”
Beck has equated progressivism with cancer that must be excised from America, and has sometimes derided progressives as “Nazis.”
Huckabee responded on the website of his political action committee, huckpac.com.
“This week Glenn Beck has taken to his radio show to attack me as a Progressive, which he has said is the same as a ‘cancer’ and a ‘Nazi.’ What did I do that apparently caused him to link me to a fatal disease and a form of government that murdered millions of innocent Jews? I had the audacity — not of hope — but the audacity to give respect to the efforts of First Lady Michelle Obama’s Let’s Move campaign to address childhood obesity,” Huckabee declared.
“I’m no fan of her husband’s policies for sure, but I have appreciated her efforts that Beck misrepresented — either out of ignorance or out of a deliberate attempt to distort them to create yet another ‘boogey man’ hiding in the closet that he and only he can see.

Beck’s not worth listening to in my estimate, but the Huckster’s tirade raises Beck several rungs on the ladder for me.

Beck is right, as usual, Shmucklebee is a typical gop lib, a proven loser, and another nutless wonder.
Oh, and I forgot to mention that his parolees are cop killers, and his son tortures dogs.

The Huckster lost me way before he became a candidate for POTUS in 2008. Specifically, when he denounced immigration raids at poultry plants in Arkadelphia while he was still govenor.

I’m not defending Huck or Beck, but I heard Brietbart being interviewed this AM and he is no fan of Beck. Brietbart said Beck stole some of his clips w/out credit, stole one of his editors for Beck’s website, and refused to put Brietbart on his show after calling him out about the white/black farmer thing. Sounds like Beck is weaselish to me.
Actually this all goes back to when the “Huckster” was less than honest about what Mormons believed concerning Jesus and Satan being brothers.

“The Huckster” would be a terrible Baptist pastor if he did not know a bit about Mormon teaching but was apparently playing coy.
I am surprised that Beck brought this this progressive stuff up but I understand it comes from resentment.
I wrote “The Huckster” off after his playing coy and being deceptive.
Well, if one wants to hang the “progressive” label on Mr. Huckabee the best place to look is to his record as the Governor of Arkansas.
Of course, Governor Huckabee had the hard drives scrubbed and destroyed when he was leaving office, so...
It is pretty unfortunate that Beck has already broken out the knee pads for Romney. How ironic is it that Beck would be so concerned with the purity of conservatism yet somehow manage to digest the Romulan Ale.
Yeah, Beck gets a lot of material from Alex Jones too. Beck is an opportunist with a gimmick...and I think he is legit a little loony.
