That’s not exactly what I’m saying. Remember the baby that King David prayed and fasted for but it still died? I think that may somewhat be relevant. Look, nobody’s talking about late term abortion or abortion in general. I’m talking about RAPE. Would you honestly demand a loved one to go through with pregnancy knowing it could harm her health or kill her, or financially ruin her, etc., etc.? I have a wife and 5 daughters so maybe I see this differently than you do. That girl in Texas that recently got raped by 11+ guys, should she be required to bear that seed?

How do you think a woman feels after an abortion? Knowing that she killed her baby, a baby that was as much a part of her as the man who is the father, a baby that is a part of her parents, and their parents and on and on.

Do you think that she ever forgets what that child might have looked like? Might have been like? Like her? Like her father or mother?

Actually the number of rapes that result in pregnancy is very minute.

Secondly, years ago on FR there was an account of a woman, the product of a rape, who was raised by her mother and her mother’s husband (who obviously was not the rapist) but he raised her like his own daughter. She considered him her real father.

She was so thankful that her mother and father didn’t kill her, due to being the product of rape.
