Could Donald Trump be following Karl Rove's advice and dropping his public birtherism once and for all? In an op-ed published in USA Today on Thursday morning, Trump writes that he's ready to stop all the birther chatter.
"I have spoken my piece on this issue," Trump wrote, reminding readers that "many people have the same doubts as I have."
Trump says he's ready to shift the conversation about his maybe-candidacy to something more substantive.
"My concern lies with people like the single mom who recently wrote to me that she now works a third job to pay for the gas to get to the other two," Trump writes.

There has to be something there..otherwise we wouldn't have all the pre-publication hype...So Trump raises the issue..heightens awareness..gets everyone, especially the MSM talking about it...the book comes out..it'll be a HUGE hit.. the facts and data and documentation will speak for themselves...

It has been reported that audio and a Youtube video has been circulating of Corsi's January 29, 2008 interview on conspiracy theorist Alex Jones' radio show.In the interview Corsi discusses "the findings of Steven Jones, physicist and hero of the '9/11 Truth' movement who claims to have evidence that the World Trade Center towers collapsed due to explosives inside the building, not just the planes hitting them, during the attacks." Corsi cites Jones' findings of microscopic forensic evidence which seemingly negates the U.S. government hypothesis that the aircraft's jet fuel fired heat, alone, was sufficiently hot enough to collapse the steel superstructure of the buildings. Obama's campaign has criticized Corsi for these claims. Corsi has also appeared on INN World Report, a news program on the left-wing Free Speech TV, to advance his claims.
Meanwhile, the damage has been done. Trump has convinced America that the most important issue for GOP voters is Obama’s birth certificate. A win for Obama.

Agreed. There MUST be something very explosive in this book and Trump had advance notice. I don’t think he would go out on a limb unless he was sure he wouldn’t end up with egg on his face. He made a very calculated decision to open this pandoras box. He will come out the big winner if he proves EVERY politician wrong or even criminal. It seems to me that Trump and Corsi are scratching each others backs right now and they will probably both come out winners.
Our station has been telling folks to buy and fill-up today! Seriously...fill-up today. Gas prices are about to spike up again.
