I noticed the same thing. I was surprised there weren't people laying on the ground after those beatings. Perhaps they are so conditioned to the violence they don't notice it. Probably also a little numb from the booze and drugs they were on. East St Louis is a horrible horrible place.
“People who avoid it entirely are foolish.”
Having been to New York on a regular basis these last few months I can say there isn’t anything there I want. The only happy people I’ve seen in mid-town are the gay boys standing outside the all male strip club which I have to pass by to get to my hotel.
Just to be sure...I copied that comment from the YouTube comments section...I certainly don’t feel that way. You and I are in agreement.
I guess you're not staying in the right place. I don't even know where an all male strip club might be.
The Met (Opera) and the Met (Museum) (but not the Mets) are at least among the best in the World at what they do.
Look: I'm living out here in NJ with deer, turkeys, and squirrels this AM. I like my trees. There's a lot about NYC that isn't for me. But I go there for the stuff that is. Bashing everything about it just seems ignorant to me.

Go to Times Square area, its pretty darn hard to miss.
I’m not bashing NYC despite its rampant liberalism. I’m saying the city life aint for me.
Nice shot! Too bad he had the chance to crawl away, albeit later died.
I see what you mean. Whatever would we do without such cultural treasures such as the ones depicted in this video?
This must be another example of “the benefits of diversity” the HR nazis at work used to lecture us about...
