Jesse says black women tend not to get married...and in the work force they make more than white women. Huh? Never heard that!
Guest says people really 'building partnerships'...don't understande that. Jesse says the moral breakdown in the black community is the problem, guest says it is the effect of the moral breakdown at large.
She says they don't get 'support'. Jesse says they get affirmative action, welfare, etc.
In america black women are the head of the families...Jesse says if they are so great , why are things such a mess today....as soon as the women took over.
This lady is very entertaining, if you are entertained by nuttiness!
Susan called saying black women might not be hired because employers are afraid to be sued. Also the inner city where there are so many single women households immorality and anger is rampant. She says if they ever were honest about their shortcomings and took responsiblity for them, they might get out of the gutter! Meanwhile they are destroying themselves.
Jesse asks what good is compassion without honesty. Hah! ANyway more discussion about her compassion and wonderfulness!

(technical probs...)now....Pastor Standish is saying Presbyterians use International bible and Bi Standard edition (?), they ask which translation hold closer to original Greek.
Jesse asks what about homosexual...Pastor doesn't like either side of this issue, his church concentrates family issues and how to deal with day to day issues.
He says he doesnt know whether it is normal or not. His wife is social worker, dealing with hemophiliacs...who have to take blood transfusions. She had to get involved in homosexual community who he says feel hated by christians. Jesse says that they are hard on christians and want to impose their lifestyles on them.
THis weak pastor is now saying we all want clarity in life. sigh
A caller is completely disagreeing with this wishy washy pastor. People ARE looking for clarity....but where does he expect to find it but in the bible? Pastor says we are justified by grace through faith. Pastor says 'grace' is all of Gods love offered moment by moment It is not based on how perfect we are etc. They are talking about sin. Going too fast for me again, I try to understand...lol CAller does make good point it is good to know what a sin is ie. homosexuality.
Caller talking about certain religious leader who put to death many people....I don't know much about history I am mostly concerned with present...practicing the 'Presence'.
Pastor says caller is not really incorrect.
New caller says if a person is homosexual excommunicaTE THEM, don't eat with them. Pastor does not want to address it. Interesting...as always these exploring the faith hours.
