Bachmann Says Obama's Certificate 'Settles' Birther Issue....(What about the rest of missing info?)

For the first time, Rep. Michele Bachmann – who is actively considering a run for the White House in 2012  -- has said that the birth certificate President Obama has released to the public puts an end to the "birther" issue. It came when I showed her the copy of the Certificate of Live Birth published on FactCheck.org.

It happened this morning on “GMA.”  Here’s the key exchange:

Stephanopoulos: Last night you were on Fox News suggesting the president should come forward with his birth certificate as well --

Bachmann: Well, what I have said about that is, I was asked a question about that and Republicans are constantly asked to vouch for the authenticity of the birth certificate. The only one who can is the clerk of court in the county where someone is born and that’s where people should go. Don’t ask Republicans, go ask the clerk of court.

Either way, ITS NOT THE DAMN BIRTH CERTIFICATE. These documents are far easier to secure than a REAL BIRTH CERTIFICATE.

It means NOTHING - NADA.

This guy’s ALLEGED mother ran all over the world and she could have whelped him anywhere and from anyone - IF INDEED she WAS his mother.

Somebody doesn’t spend $2,000,000.00 to black access to his records for no reason.

If it turns out that he WASN’T born in the USA, it’s possible that congress WOULD impeach him. I think the outcry would be too strong to resist.

(Please do not mistake my point for equating birth on the soil with Natural born citizen status. It is not. He cannot be a Natural born citizen because his father (if it really is his father) is NOT an American citizen.)

This is what I'm stating:
Here is a real Certificate of Live Birth from Hawaii. Do you see any difference? It actually shows a seal on the front of the certificate. It also states which country the Mother and Father were born in. Notice BO's Certificate is a Certification of Live Birth and shows no seal on the front or where parents were born. No seal on front means fake Certification.

The law in Hawaii says the COLB is legally the same as a full BC. This doesn't settle the true meaning of Natural Born Citizen, but you don't need his long form for that. He already admits his dad wasn't a citizen.

The law in Hawaii also says that birth certificates can be ALTERED, and therefore are NOT irrefutable evidence.

§338-17 Late or altered certificate as evidence. The probative value of a “late” or “altered” certificate shall be determined by the judicial or administrative body or official before whom the certificate is offered as evidence. [L 1949, c 327, §21; RL 1955, §57-20; HRS §338-17; am L 1997, c 305, §4]

I already knew this because as an Adopted child *I* have an "ALTERED" birth certificate. (I also have the original with my real mother and father on it.)

Mark Levin made a few good points about this issue last night. He said the courts can’t remove a sitting president. Its up to Congress, and we all know how this would turn out. No one in Congress will vote to impeach him, so, this probably is a dead issue for now.

The birther stuff is a distraction. I enjoy calling Hussein "the Kenyan" myself, but every minute spent talking about this is time not spent talking about important things like how badly Obama and his liberal henchman and toadies are screwing up the country. Obama is not going to be impeached even if it was discovered he wasn't born here. It's just not going to happen. Either way, Hawaii has released what it will release and that's pretty much the way it's going to stay.

That you have people in this thread yammering on that someone like Michelle Bachmann shouldn't be in the Tea Party because she isn't sufficiently on the birther bandwagon is beyond silly. That there are people who will blindly follow someone who is NOT a conservative like Donald Trump because he bangs away at the birther stuff is pathetic. The birth certificate stuff is NOT what's going to drive the 2012 elections. It's a sideshow, and not a super important one at that.
