Our author misunderstands the “green” part of “green energy.” If UK’s anything like America (a sure bet BTW) green energy’s all about building Rube Goldberg machines that burn greenbacks to produce energy.

Everyday on talk radio here there are ads for community colleges. They're desperate to lure unemployed into their classrooms.
One of the things they press in the ads is the ability to train for "green jobs."

I think its not just government subsidized “green” jobs that cost 3.7 X real jobs, I think all GOVERNMENT jobs hurt the real private sector economy.
