This announcement was briefly at the top of the Drudge Report earlier today:
COMING THIS SUMMER: THE DEVIL AND MS. COULTER!PUBLISHER ANNOUNCES NEW BOOK FROM NATION'S TOP-SELLING CONSERVATIVE AUTHOR...
DETAILS: NONE.
OBAMA AS SATAN? DEMS CULT OF WICKED? WARNING ON AMERICA'S DISINTEGRATION?
Maybe. She is tough, I’ll give her that.
I’m sure she will sell many books and continue to piss off the left. But personally I don’t like her.
...How in the world did you get to Arnold in CA from some of us not worshiping the book pimping of Ann Coulter?LOLOL!
Do try to keep up!
I'll type more slowly this time. ;)I am AGRRESSIVELY PROMOTING Ann here on FR -- as also I do for my OTHER passions: Governor Palin, the new "Atlas Shrugged" movie, supporting our troops (and President Bush, when he deserved it), organizing protests against Hillary/John Kerry/Dan Rather, etc.
It is a "straw man" fallacy (i.e., a willful misrepresentation of what I do, done in an attempt to discredit my actions) to use such emotionally-charged words as "pimp," "worship," "blindly follow," or "have a crush on," et al -- to characterize what I do here. And, I'm O.K. with "aggressively promoting" Ann on this forum, despite the fact that many here do not like that Ann has higher priorities than the "birth certificate" issue -- and in fact, sees this as a counter-productive distraction, which could cost us support among the independents.
She may be right. Or not.
But, I like and respect enough of her OTHER positions (where I **do** agree with her) to not let "the perfect be the enemy of the good," as it were.
On the other hand, I have NOT been "aggressively promoting" Donald Trump here -- even though I **do** like his tweaking Obama (and the media) on the "birth certificate" issue -- because I do not agree with him on many of his other (apparently quite liberal) positions. In part, my apprehension about The Donald is the result of getting burned by supporting a similarly "populist conservative" Schwarzenegger.
ANN has earned a lot of "grace" from me over the years, with her long history of consistently effective attacks on liberalism.
TRUMP has not.
And "The Governator's" abject betrayal of his alleged "conservative" philosophy once he got into office is one of the main reasons for my apprehension with "The Donald" now.I. hope. this. helps. :o)
I hope you know you are arguing against issues I, nor anyone else on this thread, have made.
My only comment was I don’t care for Ann Coulter. You have a problem with that opinion and have now written a small opus on everything including the kitchen sink.
Type as slow or as fast as you want to. And don’t forget to keep adding the “LOLs” where nothing posted was funny. I’ll step out of your way.
have = haven’t on my post above
(I knew that sentence was wrong the minute I hit the post button. It still doesn’t look right, but it’s the best I can do at 3am)
If you don't want your opinions challenged by others, here's a hint - don't post them on FR. Start a blog instead and don't allow comments.
Now the projecting starts.
Take a look upthread. I gave my opinion. You had a problem with it.
Or are we not allowed to think for ourselves?
Like I said, if you don't like having your opinions challenged, don't post them on FR.
And if you can't engage in fair debate (like you have demostrated on this thread), you will get challenged furher.
I second your crank.
Only 5 posts to the first Ann-bashing, single-issue poster!
Take a hike, troll.
...But...The real punch in the nose was that she was insulting about it. There was no good reason to that.
Should an abused wife have anything to due with a man who punches her in the nose, crushes her zygomatic arches, and shatters the floor of her eye sockets? Should she over look this 20% because he was nice the other 80% of the time?
Please read post #51.
Even William F. Buckley talked about not wanting to be on the receiving end of Ann's invective, further upthread. The problem with giving so much weight to the "birth certificate" issue, though, is that you necessarily need to support people like Donald Trump over people like Ann.
I am not prepared to do so.
So I put up with Ann's "quirks" -- constantly re-evaluating MY positions in areas where we disgree, since in some of those cases, SHE may be right -- not me. ;)
Having a likely usurper in the White House is more than a “quirk”. It is **fundamental** to the Constitution and the rule of law. Not only is Ann on the wrong side of the issue she is INSULTING about it.
Personally, it is likely not a good business strategy for Ann to punch her followers in the nose. There was no need for it.
As for Trump:
Pointing out that Ann is wrong on the Article 2, Section1, issue does NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT mean that one supports Donald Trump for president. Geeze! Anyone taking that leap in thinking would need a parachute.
However...On this one narrow issue of eligibility Trump is doing a fantastic job and is righter than right! He will likely profit from it financially. Ann won't do as well as might have done.
Troll?
I have been on FR longer than you.
I disagree with you on this issue. That is all.
Thank you for pointing that out.
Inquiring minds regarding the eligibility issue simply want the truth to come out.
Taking the “leap” from that to supporting Trump is just that, a leap.
Ann has been downright insulting to many Americans who believe something just isn’t right with Barry’s background.
I was called a troll for pointing this out. (That was a first)
If you are talking about the removed posts on this thread, then might I suggest you do some digging before accusing me of something.
And if you still have a problem with it, take it up with the mods. They removed them for a reason.
Rules are rules. On FR as well as in the Constitution.
I am a big Anne Coulter fan but I do have a hard time with her constant drum banging for Chris Christie. I admire his guts, (an ample supply) for taking on the public employee unions and his fiscal conservative position, but from what I read he is far from a true Constitutional conservative.
Treason is a great book!
