I had a feisty 35 minute sit-down with Donald Trump today in which he dug in on the "birther" controversy, answered Club for Growths charge that he is a liberal, talked about a possible independent run and answered your questions.
But we began with his get tough approach on gas prices:
Trump: Look at whats going on with your gasoline prices. Theyre going to go to $5, $6, $7 and we dont have anybody in Washington that calls OPEC and says, "Fellas, its time. Its over. Youre not going to do it anymore." I dont know if you saw yesterday, Saudi Arabia came out and said very strongly theres plenty of oil. "Were going to cut back." You know what cutting back means? Theyre going to drive up the price even further.
Stephanopoulos: So, what would you do to back up that threat?
Trump: Oh, its so easy George. Its so easy. Its all about the messenger. They wouldnt even be there if it wasnt for us. If it werent for us, they wouldnt be there. These 12 guys sit around a table and they say, "Lets just screw the United States." And frankly, the rest of the world.
And Trump was even more specific on what he would do with the Iraq oil fields: seize them.

NO One !
He has the guts and the nuts no one else has and he is talking about Rezko and the vile Apology tours and our crazy anti oil policies not just the certificate issue .
Where is Mittens Romney , we he was crying that Trump was being mean to Barry !
And that's the problem -- his mind. Yesterday he was bragging that his fortune is much bigger than Romney's which, in his view, makes him a better candidate. And a couple days ago, he said we should just seize the oilfields in Libya.
He's starting to make Ross Perot and Jesse Ventura look sane.
Don't get me wrong I hate what how the Arab World is manipulating our prices, but seizing oil fields requires a massive build-up of ground troops, and yet another war. And the repercussions on the U.S. would be unpredictable. Drill Baby Drill and thumbing our noses at the Arabs is a much better answer
None!
Because Schmuck Schumah inserted himself with some green weenie objections. Now it all goes to China. (IIRC)
Why??? You don’t like that fact Trump is trashing Barry and the Soros media machine !
"He has no solutions."
He has all of the solutions.
Do you hear him say not to drill?
The quick solution is to threaten the Saudi's with loss of their protective status and take the payback we are owed from Iraq.
Going over and bowing to them has not worked, now we need to let them know that the game is over.
Donald is the only one with enough balls to stand up for America, all one hears from the other GOP candidates and the FReeppers that do not like the threat of their favorite RINO dropping in the polls is "this guy is crazy".
My favorite line from the movie "Zombieland" applies here:
"Nut up or Shut up"
He is a stalking horse for Hillary. Destroy Obummer and defeat him so Hillary can run.
I've heard all of the voices of God's noblest creature: moans from bundles of filth in the streets.
I've been a soldier and a slave.
I've seen my comrades fall in battle or die more slowly under the lash in Africa.
I've held them in their last moments; these were men who saw "life, as it is".
But they died despairing. No glory. No bray of last words. Only their eyes filled with confusion, questioning "Why?"
I do not think they were asking why they were dying, but why they had ever been born.
Life itself seems lunatic. Who knows where madness lies?
Perhaps to be too practical is madness.
To surrender dreams, this may be madness;
To seek treasure where there is only trash.
Too much sanity may be madness.
But maddest of all, to see "life, as it is" and not as it should be!

Seizing Iraqi oil fields and strong-arming OPEC at first, then strong-arming American insurance companies or seizing productive resources in the United States that are used “unfairly” tomorrow. If this guy really means what he says, he is dangerous.
BTW, I met him once—I can say he may be the most arrogant person I’ve ever met in my life.
Do you have a link for that claim? I don't recall that being said.
You said it. What amuses me about Trump is that he thinks the entire world is run in one board room where we simply need the right man in the board room making the right negotiations for all of us and WHAMMO — all problems solved.
Or, he thinks we are all naive enough to think that. Or, since he inherited a lot of wealth to begin with and was raised in a boardroom — maybe he really believes it. The world, including oil, does not run that simplistically. Oil markets. like everything, are the result of millions of different people making deals in their best interest based on market realities.
Trump supports that, as do most (probably all) of the other Republican candiates-in-waiting.
We removed the US troops from Saudi Arabia back in 2003.

Yes he did! And as soon as the left started screaming no blood for oil he backed off that...just like every initiative he ever proposed in his 8 years at the helm. If the left said no W just shrugged his shoulders and said 'oh well, I tried' AND GAVE UP!
You’re correct but Palin’s army on FR refuses to listen. Their goal is to silence any potential opposition to her in it’s infancy and Trump just keepos rolling on and gaining in the polls. It’s driving them crazy.
Yep, Schmuckie and Kerry stopped Iraq from allowing Chevron the development rights and undermarket oil so BP and China got it.
Pray for America
"I see this is the ASTROTURF to shut up and marginalize Trump , he is crazy."
Just more liberal talking points.
You see it every day, Bob Beckel was spewing the same thing on Hannity last night.
Now you see the libs on FR talking the same crap, "He is Crazy".
Not saying he is not fighting the good fight, FRiend. I hope he continues to put the screws to Bamster from now until election day. I am more fearful of the unknowns with him, and there are a lot of damning articles coming out about his ties with Soros and Liberals in general.
If he runs, I hope he goes the route of full disclosure, but I doubt he is going to make it very far in the primaries if there are better conservatives in the mix. That, however, remains to be seen.
