Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) said Monday he feared a "stalemate" has developd in Libya that would lead to a more radical government in that country.
McCain, the ranking member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, said the U.S. should revive its air attacks to incapacitate forces loyal to Moammar Gadhafi's regime.
"All we need to do is get sufficient air power in there to really nail Gadhafi's forces, and we can succeed," McCain said on KFYI radio. "A stalemate is a terrible outcome, because if you have a stalemate you open the door for radical Islamists to come in and hijack this revolution."

Hijack? They *are* the revolution.
Unfortunately, you're too stupid to realize that, and just like in Kosovo, you've been caught coddling al Qaeda.
FUJM!!!
Juan, you ignorant slut!, you ARE supporting the more radical rebels.........Hard to believe, but Daffy is the “conservative government”!
Ahem...Issat right. You're a real hero, John.
Juan wants to get rid of Gaddafi, but getting rid of those ME dictators and monarchs is probably the best way to pave the way for the radical Islamists Juan fears.
No ideal outcomes in that part of the world.
McCain has quickly become Obama’s white nigger.
We don’t need to put our troops in harms way just to clean up Obama’s incompetent mess.
FU mca$$hole.
LLS
If McCain is in the headline I usually skip the article. Obviously he can’t be run out of office nor beaten but he can dang sure be ignored. So, that is my job.
It’s my job to ignore anything with John McCain in the headline. Since he can’t be defeated or tossed out of office he can be ignored. (Which drives him crazy.)
When will these clowns learn? Air power alone never wins the day. History has proven it time and time again. If you are truely in it to win it, you need a combined arms approach. I am not nor will I ever advocate troops on the ground in Libya. I’m against us using air also. I am just pointing the fallacy of the air power advacates.

Sorry about the double post. Must of fat fingered it.
Well, given our nebulous mission in Libya, he may have cause for concern. Obama is a horrible Commander in Chief.
The king of the “troop surge” has found a new war to champion.
When will these clowns learn that Obama was not, and is still not, authorized to use military force against Libya. The Constitution is just toilet paper to the likes of McCain.
1. Clearly define the mission.
2. Determine whether the force you have is sufficient to accomplish the mission. If the answer is “yes”, then...
3. Engage.
We went right from zero to three. In the event we somehow manage to enable the rebels you’re going to see a purge that’ll make Daffy look like Mary Poppins.
