Duh, if you were a WWII vet would you accept a metal from obummer, hell no.

As a veteran and BS recipient, I am virtually certain the medal will be received with simple, yet humble gratitude for finally being recognized. I am glad the vet finally got his long overdue recognition.

Me two, but I have known a lot of the old vets and most of them would have told obummer to kiss it. One of my cousins, severed the duration with Patton, would have punched him in the mouth.

Thank you for your service.
Each to his/her own. Personally, with all due respect, I find your thoughts about the subject similar to the Vets who, upon return from Viet Nam, threw their medals over the White House fence. Of course they also supported folks like Jane Fonda and the "Lurch" from Mass John Kerry.
But again, each to his/her own. I am simply glad the older veteran finally got his Bronze Star Medal.
