The clown's mask drops to reveal the clown's mask named Donald Trump, and, while it lasts, this display of vanity, loopiness, garrulousness, and aimlessness is what little entertainment is left in modern politics. Trump is no more serious a candidate than his hairstyle.
What continues to puzzle is whether this favors the Democrats, the Republicans, or the so-called TV news media. John Fund tells me that Trump registered as aa member of Ross Perot's Reform Party in 1999, then became a Democrat in 2001, then became a Republican in 2009. In sum, Trump is a simpleton about Party discipline. There is no need for an explanation.
Trump is no more a candidate for the presidency than is he a statesman. This is Walter Mitty as a flamboyant huckster. John Fund also observes that Fund will only go as far as he can short of a financial disclosure form, because then he would have to risk the revelation that his billions of dollars are somebody else's loans, and that his net worth is never more than his ability to prosper off credit to his companies.
Have you hugged your concern troll today?
Bears repeating.....Trump is a fraud.
It seems you people are as terrified of Trump as you are of palin. There can be no other reason for the hysteria over his possibly running for office.
Trump has extraordinary name recognition and like him or not he will be heard when he speaks and it is THIS which so terrifies the loons on the Left.
The “big tent” Party which claims to “welcome all points of view” actually does anything but as we have seen time and again when they attempt to destroy anyone who has the temerity to voice the slightest objection to any part of their agenda.
Don't you realize that anything Donald Trump did or said before his CPAC speech is off limits?
The only bigger frauds than Trump are his FR fan-boys.

You are correct. The purpose of Trump is to induce fear
“Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.” Bene Gesserit Litany
The Trump hysteria marches on .
Look at Trump’s history. He is not a conservative.
Trump took over his father’s real estate development business and grew it significantly, but his companies have been through four bankruptcies. The “slight of hand” that propelled Trump and Romney to the top of the business world won’t solve our government’s problems.
Ask yourself: do you really trust Donald Trump?
All persons are contained within a single individual,
just as all time is in a moment,
and the entire universe is in a grain of sand.

Ya know...as much as I don’t like the Trumpster..and as much as i like Palin...if the The Donald decides to run...the GOP will have to nominate him...because a third party candidate WILL pull the rug out from under a Palin candidacy...which is what its supposed to do.
Trump is the Oligarchy’s solution to the threat of Constitutional government flyover country would install.
Have you noticed that only the RomneyBOTs
and ObamaBOTs are attacking Donald Trump
in his quest, not for the Presidency,
but for documentation of Obama-the-Undocumented’s
actual birth?
Have you noticed? You betcha.
Everytime I turn on WABC radio after 9 pm, seven days a week, there he is — John Batchelor. I want talk radio and I’m stuck listening to his nasally whiney “phony intellectual foreign correspondent” voice boring me to death about trade unions in South Africa or some such crap. Now he shows up on a Monday morning on Free Republic? Nooooooooooooooo! John Batchelor, please, go away!
Compared to who? There is NO CHANCE of choosing anyone more destructive then the ahole in the WH now.
I never said he would be a “good” choice just that his outspokenness generated terrific fear on the Left because he will be heard and that is something they cannot tolerate.
So what if his companies have been through 4 bankruptcy’s? Recessions cause problems and the laws are there to be used. He is today a BILLIONAIRE and unlike others here I admire those who succeed in business without breaking the law.
Is talking about Trump worse than talking about Giuliani?
