I know many fear Sarah but the truth is she is about our best hope. The left fears here because she is so defective and she speaks for we the people. Many on the right fear her because thy have bought the lie from the left that she can not win. When will some of you learn NOT to believe the left?

“The left fears here because she is so defective...”
Is this really what you meant to say?

Free Republic needs an inoculation from all of this Trump Madness. A great Sarah speech is what the Doctor ordered.

Palin made this speech in the face of protesters who were banging drums, shouting through blowhorns and yelling throughout.
Her VP acceptance speech was given at a time when she was under a blistering attack from the left and the media, which has not subsided.
If there's one person you want at the plate when you are behind in the bottom of the ninth, it's Sarah.

This is so true. I confessd to a very conservative friend the other day that I wished Sarah would be the nominee. She agreed, but then said “I do too, but everyone knows she can’t win ...”
I was really taken aback — they have literally convinced US that she can’t. It’s ridiculous — people have NO fight in them anymore!

Obama believes in nothing! He will go down in history as an “OK” president for no other reason than he's the first black president. History will be kind to him. However, like an amoeba he oozes around completely devoid of any values or principals or religion, contradicting himself, breaking cmapaign promises left and right...... doing exactly those things that he slammed Bush for when a junior Senator playing opposition politics. He's so secular that he essentially acts agnostic. Obama is “undefined” until recently where his colors are coming out a little. Obama had pro life, high income, small business, gun owners, soccer moms etc voting for him because essentially no one knew what they were voting for. They were voting for the symbolism and appearance.
Palins issue is the opposite. She's to defined. She'll have a hard time winning over people because she defined herself so clearly. Politicians like to be a bit nebulous and they play the game with their language etc where as with Obama you try to get the pro choice and life crowd, mutually exclusive views. Palin can't play that game and Americans are to shallow to vote for someone who opposes them on some issue but at least plays with an open deck of cards (is honest). They want to be lied to and they reward it with their vote.

When we look back on the 2012 race from a historical perspective her speech at Madison will be seen as the turning point that altered all the conventional wisdom and literally turned the race for POTUS on its head. After this, it would only be right for Gov Palin to be elected unopposed in the primaries so that the resources can be used to achieving the final end.
