No offense intended, but I think your post would have been more helpful if it had been about Bachmann’s qualities, rather than Trump’s perceived faults.

No, he's figured out something better: That 25% of the right wing are single-issue birthers who will pledge undying, eternal love to anyone who gives their pet issue a national forum. The cult doesn't care what he's ever done or what he's ever said. He loves them now. And they love him.

Wow so this 25% is really no different than the Obama Zombies from 2008. Sad really.

I'm all for that. So long as Trump gets the snot beat out of him in the general.

Color me confused. When did he go on tv to explain why the health care bill won’t work? When did he explain why cutting taxes is the right thing to do in a recession? When did he lay out the right course to go in the Middle East, and why what Obama is doing will lead to America being weaker on the international stage? Oh. I’m sorry. He didn’t. He’s just making a fool of himself with the whole birther issue.

The birth certificate issue gets Trump’s foot in the door. He won’t win based on that issue.

But where Trump is ahead of the pack is in our trade relationship with China, and he will make that the centerpiece of his candidacy, if he runs. And if the economy is in the dumps, it’s a winner.

Which post? This one? I've created plenty of other posts about Bachmann. And just one recently which included the quote in my tagline.

Trump: “Forget Soros. Leave him alone, he’s got enough problems. Let’s talk about somebody else.”

Is there nothing in Trump's past people here won't excuse away?

LOL Look at Trump's insinuation that he has evidence about Obama's past. The people who have screamed long and loud about the constitution are suddenly willing to let it slide when its suggested that Trump put up or shut up. Its like watching Obamabots behavior with their messiah.

You think the 2012 election will be won/lost over China? I'm doubtful of that. I'd rather fight it over repealing Obamacare and deep spending cuts. What is Trump's position on Obamacare and entitlement reform?

I doubt whether Trump is a true conservative. But I think of Trump as a convenient battering ram. There is something in it for everyone. He wants the self promotion and publicity. I want someone to knock the guy in the oval office around. Works for me.Just so long as when he gets tired of running he drops out for good and does not hang around as an independent to siphon votes away from the Republican general election candidate. Kind of like hockey. You do not want your goon squad on the ice while you are trying to score.

There was famous quote about Wendell Willkie, the 1940 GOP candidate that goes along the lines of “it’s great that the whore was converted, but she really shouldn’t immediately be put in charge of the choir”

If unemployment is at 12%, with underemployment being even worse, using China as a scapegoat will get a lot of play.

Don’t forget what he tried to do with eminent domain. This guy has so much history, but some of the same people who are idolizing him go around calling people like huckabee and Rove RINOs.

TRUMP HEAD FAKE?

My post:

To: LibLieSlayer; holdonnow; sheikdetailfeather; Huck

“He isn’t going to be elected or even nominated. He is hurting the other side. Only elite blue blood party hack liberals think otherwise” ~ LibLieSlayer

Yes, he IS “hurting” Obama.

Hypothetical:

If he doesn’t get the GOP nomination, and switches parties to run as a Democrat against Obama, how many “conservative” votes will he get, do you think.....hummmmmm?

For your consideration:

“I saw the crowd wanted him to talk about Soros but he didn’t want to”

REALLY? http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/2705870/posts?page=51#51

Instead of bashing him right now, I beleive we need to be supporting him.

It's blatantly obvious he can never win so considering him as a serious candidate shouldn't even be the discussion right now.

At this moment, he has the stage and can/will/is doing very serious damage to Obama. The reason he WILL is because he will never be a real candidate anyway... he can afford it (politically). Riding his momentum is the answer right now. Real campaigning doesn't need to start for about another YEAR. American voters can't remember anything older than a week for the most part; Today's news is the only news to them. But, sustained and over time, a lot of that damaging information repeated over and over will stick to Obama like a tarball.

I think Trump needs our support at the moment, he's quite useful. Way more useful than any real candidate who is put up against Obama in the election because Trump has nothing really to lose and he gains even more publicity for his private ventures.
Now if we could only hire Tina Fey to start doing Obama on SNL, by the time the election rolls around, liberals won't be able to tell the difference between her and Obama OR reality v/s TV. They are too dumb.

I admit that I was comparing the conversion to a Christian conversion, where, yes, you can be instantly forgiven if you confess your sins, turn from them, and invite Jesus Christ into one’s heart. You become a brand new person, and because the Holy Spirit resides within you, you have a smaller chance of continuing in those sins. But we are only human, so Christ died to pay the price for those sins.
Christ said there are many mansions in His House, so perhaps we are graded on Judgement Day. (My sermon for the day.

So good ole Wendell didn’t win, did he? Socialist FDR had too deep a toe hold.

At some point Trump will have to answer for his support of the demonrats. He will have to answer to (We The People)...how he answers will be interesting. I’m content to let the wheat grow to harvest; before separating the wheat from the chaff. This contest has yet to even begin; there will be many more participants to find fault with; as Sarah said Game On.
