Wheego to deliver first electric car on Earth Day
Altanta Examiner ^ | April 15, 2011 | by Rick Limpert

The first owners of a Wheego LiFe will be Asma and Kevin Henry, residents of the Virginia Highland neighborhood in Atlanta.

Kevin says buying a Wheego LiFe was his wife’s idea. Asma, a freelance consultant in international assistance programs, is committed to protecting the environment and reducing fossil fuel consumption. She walks and bikes to neighborhood shops, prefers fresh air to conditioned air, and dries laundry in the back garden. She has more than a casual interest in zero-emission vehicles and clean air because she helps manage the charity Speranta Terrei, which supports patients in Moldova with the air-borne disease tuberculosis. Asma said, “We as individuals have to do our part so we can all breathe easier.”

To be honest,
With stuff like "Wheego", "Asna", "Speranta Terrei", and her great concern for Moldova...
I wasn't sure that it was or was not satire.

Running over an armadillo would TOTAL that little tin can toy.

And they want $30,000+ for that impractical little piece of crap? “Seats two uncomfortably and has enough trunk space for your laptop and your lunch”

Combined with some sort of link of TB with fossil fuels. As far as beathing easier, I’m sure she really has a fun time drying clothes on a line in Atlanta in August while keeping the fresh air flowing through the house.

I remember setting on the grid at Road Atlanta on a Memorial Day weekend, before Globull Whining was the craze, sweat pouring like running water. I thought about the time of day (early afternoon) and errantly thought the sea breeze would be along soon. Then reality surfaced as I realized where I was.

Yep, and more than likely we are helping this wretch pay for it with our tax dollars. (rebates)

Check out the specs. The Big Wheel Wheego weighs almost 2700 pounds.

My old Nissan Maxima weighed only about 180 pounds more, held four six footers, had a good size trunk, did 30 mpg on the highway, and got away from traffic lights like a scalded cat.

Auto design has definitely regressed in the last decade, mostly because of the safety nazis and helicopter parents who want Nerf-coated armor plate and airbags everywhere in your car.

I see a Smart Car around here almost every day. I always want to ask them, ‘do you really think that it is smart to drive that car in traffic?’ I don't ask and probably never will, I just think it.

I never resist a chance to pull up on my Motorcycle acting all interested and curious...lloking down into their little car..

The libtard driver never fails to start beaming in pride...

Until I tell them I wouldnt drive one as I’d be afraid to get run over by a motorcycle...I’m not suicidal...then ride off shaking my head...

You should see the look on their face...

Priceless...always makes my day...

Your non-air conditioned neck of the woods outside of Atlanta must smell like Eau de Armpit in July Asma??!! ROFL Asma, seriously? What do you really do besides foul up my air when you exhale?

I hope Asthma has taken out a very good life insurance policy with that death trap.

I guess someone else can breath the emissions from that coal fired plant generating the electric for it.

These people are such fake, phony, frauds.
