The one factor weighing against “sudden jihad syndrome” in this case is that there were two perpetrators, not one — and it wasn’t a case of some weird Islamic man-boy relationship like you saw here in the U.S. with the D.C. snipers a few years ago.
OK... I’ll buy that. The only question is whether Hamas directly put them up to it, or only indirectly.
