AHA! That's the answer. They are distinguishing between the RINO elites and the unwashed "ultraconservative" Tea Party types. That's the answer, I'll bet.

In what way is the Weekly Standard not really conservative? I used to subscribe, then allowed it to lapse a few years back when they weirded-out on immigration reform, an error they have yet to repudiate. But other than that one policy error, I wouldn’t say they’re not conservative.

Back to this thread: Trump is a showman, looking for publicity. He loves the limelight and this is one way to get it. He’s an egomaniac, a narcissist, like a Charlie Sheen. He’s greedy for attention, and I refuse to give him any, and, for that matter, I’m not supporting anyone for President who does TV shows - no Trump, no Palin, no Huck, etc etc

Trump comes across as a Democrat plant, a clown trying to convert the GOP nomination process into a circus.
