Pity poor Nancy Pelosi -- the House minority leader is stuck in the past.
Speaking to a college crowd last Friday, she admonished her audience: "The fact is, is that elections shouldn't matter as much as they do."
Of course not. She just lost one.
Hmm: Back in 2006, when she became House speaker, she said the election was "an historic [event] . . . for which we have waited for over 200 years."
But if that election was consequential, so was last November's, wherein Pelosi was relegated to oblivion.
Still raging at the outcome, this week she scolded the GOP for being taken over by Tea Party ideologues.
Said she to GOP colleagues: "Take back your party, so that it doesn't matter so much who wins the election, because we have shared values."
What she really wants is for Republicans to forget about limited government and embrace her "values," a creepy by-word for whatever left-wing causes Nancy cherishes.
But that's absurd: Pelosi still doesn't understand the demand for lower taxes and lower spending that created a Republican landslide last year.
Which goes a long way toward explaining how the self-proclaimed history-maker has become Ms. Minority -- and the most irrelevant figure in Washington

Hey, Nance...it's the "shared values" that we're trying to disassociate with.
We want the United States back.
But you wouldn't understand.
Pelosi - The lights are on but nobody’s home. Just look at her eyes and you can see she is having problems with being rejected by the voters in 2010. “Intellectual” liberal elitists don’t take rejection very well. They see themselves as being little mini-gods and Gaia’s gift to the universe.

Of course not, Nancy. We shouldnt even have elections. Whatever YOU want, we should just “deem it passed.”
When a Dim says elections shouldn’t matter, what they really mean is that it’s such a hassle and takes so much time, then you might push the wrong button/pull the wrong lever/punch the wrong chad, why not let the government provide a voting service - you tell us who you want to vote for and we vote for who you should vote for.
I’ve noticed that too. In recent photos Nancy has this hollow, stressed look. She seems to have aged quickly in the past few months.
No we don't.
Her plastic face is caving in.
Something very scary happens to people who live inside the Belt Way.
There is a point when they suddenly believe that only they can see the big picture and they know what is best for everyone.

We average American citizens that are the Tea Party are the ones taking our Country back from you and the spineless RINOs that are the current republican party.
