Sounding increasingly like a candidate, Donald Trump repeatedly told a raucous tea party crowd today he has the qualities needed in the White House and the conservative ideals necessary to seal the Republican nomination should he decide to run.
Trump struck familiar themes and talked about his own business acumen in his speech to hundreds gathered at a park here, where his name festooned signs, buttons and T-shirts of supporters. The real estate mogul even talked about the type of people he'd have serve as diplomats and said he was looking forward to releasing his financial disclosures.
"Most very successful people, the kind of people that we need running our country, don't want to be scrutinized and abused," he said. "This is the kind of person that this country must have right now."
He derided President Barack Obama, calling him the worst to occupy the White House in history. He again questioned whether the president was born in the U.S., even though the fact has been affirmed by officials in Hawaii, where Obama was born. And he maligned China, saying the U.S. should take control of Iraqi oil and described American infrastructure as third world.
Trump ticked through a number of issues seen as bedrocks for conservative candidates, saying he is anti-abortion, against gun control and wants to repeal Obama's health care law. Throughout the speech, he portrayed the U.S. as a nation in decline and himself as its potential savior.

That is fine with me. I don’t do vanities when I can add to an existing thread. Anyway, I think it’s good that the info gets out.
Three bold face lies.
From Trump's book, "The America We Deserve, pages 31-32:
"I support a womans right to choose ..."
(I believe it is a personal decision that should be left to the women and their doctors" Link)
page 102:
"The Republicans walk the NRA line and refuse even limited restrictions. I generally oppose gun control, but I support the ban on assault weapons and I support a slightly longer waiting period to purchase a gun".
pages 206-208 & 218:
"... the goal should be clear: Our people are our greatest asset. We must take care of our own. We must have universal healthcare. Our objective [should be] to make reforms for the moment and, longer term, to find an equivalent of the single-payer plan..."
Trump is pro-abortion, pro-gun control and supports universal health care and a single payer plan run by the feds. Trump is a liberal.
When Liberals attack an opponent of Obama, they call him/her a "racist."
When Freepers mindlessly attack fellow Freepers, they say he/she is "not conservative."
And you think Trump isn’t a worthless RINO hell bent on splitting the conservative vote again? Wow, you’re pretty dense.
Well, here goes then!
Yea, but if the Foo sh!ts, wear it.
and, so I ask, who will take the socialist TOE-TO-TOE (without blinking an eye)???
“And you think Trump isnt a worthless RINO hell bent on splitting the conservative vote again? Wow, youre pretty dense.”
I believe he has our best interests at heart,Suggestion take your stupidity and go bother the democrats!
Hmmm, come to think of it...
Curious, isn’t it, how many of Sarah Palin’s MSM critics have undergone significant career setbacks in the past year. The cool people, the smart people, the ones in the know. One after another, heading for the exits.
The latest is Katie Couric.
Then there was Kathleen Parker
Rick Sanchez was not a fan of women with large families in public life.
Keith Olbermann - nuff said.
David Shuster.
Make that David “Sarah Palin has no future” Shuster.

Take your ignorant RINO loving self and get off this conservative site, jackass. You're a complete and utter fool who will willfully ignore someone's PAST because he's saying all the right things now.
You're the epitome of lemming stupidity and a slap in the face of the great conservatives on the site.
Are you saying Obama and Carter werent bad?
Of course not! Read my post again.
Good grief. I didn't "add" anything -- note the quotations (or lack thereof).
“I believe he has our best interests at heart”
Why do you think he gives a rats behind about “our best interests”? He’s always been about himself. Why would that suddenly change?
