Sounding increasingly like a candidate, Donald Trump repeatedly told a raucous tea party crowd today he has the qualities needed in the White House and the conservative ideals necessary to seal the Republican nomination should he decide to run.
Trump struck familiar themes and talked about his own business acumen in his speech to hundreds gathered at a park here, where his name festooned signs, buttons and T-shirts of supporters. The real estate mogul even talked about the type of people he'd have serve as diplomats and said he was looking forward to releasing his financial disclosures.
"Most very successful people, the kind of people that we need running our country, don't want to be scrutinized and abused," he said. "This is the kind of person that this country must have right now."
He derided President Barack Obama, calling him the worst to occupy the White House in history. He again questioned whether the president was born in the U.S., even though the fact has been affirmed by officials in Hawaii, where Obama was born. And he maligned China, saying the U.S. should take control of Iraqi oil and described American infrastructure as third world.
Trump ticked through a number of issues seen as bedrocks for conservative candidates, saying he is anti-abortion, against gun control and wants to repeal Obama's health care law. Throughout the speech, he portrayed the U.S. as a nation in decline and himself as its potential savior.

Ya know dennis, this is funny. We have a wealthy guy (that may be) running who knows how to get things done in a very large corporation. And yes, he supported democrats and republicans in the past. Yet they fail to understand why he would have donated to those people. Aint hard when you consider where the hell he does his business, but then again, a lot of people cant think beyond their noses.
Ronald Reagan was what before he became a republican? He was a democrat, and, he was a union man. He basically kicked the can on the abortion issue..against it except in the case of rape, incest and medical reasons. So I guess he was pro life..or was he? If he was, then he might have had Roe V Wade overturned since he was a very powerful great president.
So what did we have? A president who was once a democrat, a union leader, somewhat wealthy and once a FDR man, which resulted in him being the best presidents in the 20th century. One thing made him stand out throughout his life..he knew who our enemies were and wouldnt bow down to them.
That is what I am looking for. Someone who isnt going to cave under pressure and has no reason to cave and will NOT bow to our enemies.

Its his “business expeirience” in working thru his own bankruptcy that interests me....

Trump has run his own business’s thru Chapter whatever...
he might as well be the one to oversee USA’s...

Freepers are having a Trump trash-a-thon. Freepers seem mostly oblivious that businessmen have to pay off all these Democrat hacks to get projects approved. Actually Trump often does it on the cheap via flattery of scum such as Schumer. Hacks love flattery and it costs Donald nothing. Freepers are a very suspicious lot. The dumbest thing I see here is “Trump is clearing the way for Hillary”. A lot of freepers got burned with Schwarzenegger and fear being played the fool again
I’m keeping my fingers crossed that Trump runs and that freeepers will be much happier with him by August
No matter what, we have to go through the debate season for any serious decisions to be made. All these other little squabbles will be forgotten.
But they pass the time.
Trump won’t be declaring until end of May. This is when he shifts into overdrive or decides not to run.
Lots of freepers seeing Trump conspiracies to help Hillary or Obama. Freepers don’t like his past donations to Democrats. Time will sort all this out. My opinion is in six months Trump will be clearly seen as the only one who can whip Obama. That or Trump decides not to run.
The 'donald' does not need to declare, he needs to unearth the secrets of the Sphinx. IF he can unearth the mysteries of BamBamKennedy the 'HOUSE' is all his, $0R0$ included.
I won’t vote for him. I can’t believe we’d even consider him a republican.
I am not a Trump fan. He has stated several times that he will run as an independent if he doesn’t get the Republican nomination. That reminds me of what Perot did in 1992 & we ended up with Clinton (like we could actually end up with Obama again with a 3rd party candidate as strong as Trump).
I am Conservative & while I will not call Bush evil or the worst president in History BUT.....BUT..he did start giving his weekly address in Spanish immediately after he took office in 2001. Bush also was the master of 2 bail outs before he left office. “To save the free market he must abandon free market principles”.
Don’t forget even though he later wanted to go after Fannie & Freddie before they collapsed..he had on the White House website an article praising them in 2004. I could go on...........

Your spot on. What these people also cant fathom is that the establishment do not want Trump, NOR do they want Palin. So now,whats that leave?
The question is, can Palin raise enough money to counter the billion they say BO is going to come up with? I dont think so. So that leaves the whole bunch with ONE choice. And you and I know what/who that is.
