Here was my post at 105 in this thread:
The problem, as I see it, is that If you discount what Trump has said over the last week, he has all the conservative credibility of any of the politicians in Ayn Rands novel Atlas Shrugged. He gives money to people like Rahm Emanuel and thinks government run healthcare is a great idea.
If he becomes a candidate, you can bet a years salary that the MSM is going to pump him up for all it is worth. They will even ignore the Dems in the primary to give air and print time to Trump. The Republican primary will be a knockdown, drag out bloodletting with Trump getting the nomination.
After that, Trumps liberal leanings and two faced stands over the years will be the story.
I hear what you are saying, but it could well come down to casting a vote for Trump or Obama. And that is not a position I want to be in. If he wants to savage Obama on any and all issues, I am fine with that, but it will be a disaster if he is in the primary.
“...I hear what you are saying, but it could well come down to casting a vote for Trump or Obama...And that is not a position I want to be in.”
My point - we may not a choice in the matter when it comes ‘round.
The Fraud needs to be removed - we cannot afford four more years of this assclown - the country will tear itself to pieces.
IF Trump gets the nod, what do we do? Not vote? That guarantees four more of the the dicatator wannabe, and the only hope we’ll have is IF we retake the Senate and increase the House.
Trump may be a putz in a lot of ways (and I’m not stumping for him) but at least he’s an American capitalist first, and in a strange way I think he wants to do right by the country - he SEEMS really pissed at what the Fraud has done to the economy.
I don’t know, brother. I do NOT have an answer for this...
I DO know that we can’t take four more years of this assclown.
