Looks like my kids house on Durham was right in the path of the cell.

Is there a Durham Street or are you talking about Durham itself?
The cell went well east of Durham.

Bert, if they’re in Durham, they weren’t in the path of the tornado. I’m in southwest Durham (near South Square if you know the area) and the tornado passed 15-20 miles south of here. It touched down near Sanford where it caused significant damage, came through Holly Springs, then apparently just south of downtown Raleigh and exited out toward Rolesville/Wake Forest.
There is a second tornado that may be even stronger down around the Benson/Dunn/Smithfield area.
