tshaunk, Bush's deficits of $200-$400 billion (not including TARP in 2008, that Obama supported and voted for) do not compare to Obama deficits. Bush's deficits were about 1-2% of the GDP at that time. Obama’s deficits are in the double digit range. Unforgivable and NOT comparable, unless you are a Trump Chump. Bush didn’t have the balls to cut spending, even with a Republican Congress. It should’ve been easy for him. But his liberalism and tendency towards outright socialism (Medicare Part D, No Child Left Behind) showed us what he was really made of.
Something tells me that The GOP Establishment enjoyed the Bush Years a lot more than Conservative voters did. Anything for a buck, these “GOP Leaders”, shysters more likely, sold us out.
