Evolution is dynamic not static.
Artificially choosing some species to save from extinction may “feel good” but it is not how nature works.

First people complain about wolves and predators being dangerous so we kill them off, then we have an explosion in herd type animals, the same people who wanted the predators gone, now are against hunting, so we introduce back the predators and due to an over abundance of food and animals not use to be hunted their population explodes. Thus we are right back where we started.

“”Wolves to come off endangered list within 60 days””
It’s about time. I’m tired of eating spotted owl every day.

I find this amazing since we’ve been employing “shoot, shovel, and shut up” for years now up here in the rockies!

Kill them all. They bite, kill live stock, game animals. I don’t want them in my yard.

And just what part of their best guesses of the wolf population does 1,300 represent; 30%, 20% or less?
After all these years under the protection of the feds, judges and the environ-mental agitators the wolves have had a free lunch or maybe a free breakfast for years at the expensive of the sheep and cattlemen. The program rivals the school lunch programs given to kids....at the taxpayers expense.
I can't even afford a lamb chop anymore.

Wolves are nothing compared to the exploding coyote population. They've so well adapted to human civilization that park rangers on the American River Parkway near my house in Sacramento, CA are on the constant lookout for them--especially for females with pups, since those females can be VERY aggressive protecting those pups.
