yes on cig smoking BUT it is easy to not “get it” w/o reading the book

Thanks so much and for withholding just enough to not need a ***SPOILER*** tag. :)

As you probably have figured out from our occasional interaction, most of my film viewing is from TCM or DVD rentals. Atlas Shrugged will be my first trip to a cinema house/palace since the release of United 93 just about 5 years ago.

I try to not give spoilers.. I think you will enjoy your trip to movie for this one. Glad we were able to go to the first showing.. (only 5.00)

There was another type of spoiler.. a group of us went to late lunch afterward & were discussing film & movie & one of the men mentioned he had not read the book yet & so he had all sorts of spoilers!!!!

This was my first movie since Forest Gump. I thought the role of Wesley Mooch was absolutely brilliant. If he had a lisp, it would have been a perfect Barney Franks.

They didn’t expand too much of Reardon’s whiny family. But, for the format, a movie, I’d say it was 80% true to the book so far.

I really enjoyed this movie, the audience applauded at the end. We went to the 2:30 show, the theater was about 75% full.
