Only 59 of the 240+ House Republicans voted against this deal. It seems we have a long way to go.
Boehner, whose staff will hang up on you if you call and ask him to take a stand against Obamacare, did get almost 80 democrats to vote for it though. What does that tell you?
The answer to your post is “NO”. Obamacare is the law and I predict will remain the law. There are two parties in D.C. working to destroy this nation. And they’re almost there.
” It seems we have a long way to go”
yep—at least 240 must be replaced. I hope a large majority of FReepers have become delegates.
The Tea Party should strategically focus on primarying the most influential RINOs. Boehner would be a great place to start. He’s a wuss anyway and not terribly bright, so he’d be no big loss, even if a Rat got his seat temporarily.
We need to send a big message to the rest of the RINOs that they better start representing the people instead of themselves or they’re gonna be next.
I could not agree more. Defeating Boehner in a primary would be a clear signal that we no longer want business as usual...
No, we just need to run Tea Party candidates and let the GOP die on the vine.
He is the real deal and he’s smart too!
He’s also young, a M.D. and really believes what he says. Most old school ‘Republicans’ just lie and say what they think will make all of us dewey eyed - then turn and stab us in the back (think Lindsey Grahmnesty).
Also, be aware there is a machine behind all of these bad candidates, RNC (and DNC) are run by the great money powers that the MSM never, ever talks about. Remember “Mr. Smith Goes to Washington?” Ultimately, it wasn’t the Senator who was as bad as the political backroom machine. And the machine calls the shots and gives us the anointed candidates we are offered - meaning they are already bought out before they are put forward.
We have to vote for those who by actions in the past have been for lesser federal power - that is all I look at - the ones who try and starve the beast back to its constitutional confines are the ones who need our support, even if you don’t agree with everything the say.
Also, I really can’t stand Karl Rove - the ultimate compromising quisling, machine politician, hack- he makes me nauseous every time I see him - won’t he please just go back to the rock he crawled out of.
