President Obama today, speaking to a crowd of college students (is there some reason why he wont speak to the adult taxpayers of this country), blasted the Republican budget proposed by Paul Ryan (R. Wi.). According to the President, it will throw seniors under the bus, they will have to eat dog food, starve, and die, all thanks to the Republicans.
There are a few facts, however, that he neglected to mention and, that you need to know.

Then he wouldn't get to bask in the glow of the poor, the unwashed, the trampled upon...
And maybe because college students have been brainwashed by their profs to believe Obama walks on water?
...I kept the government open so I could be here today with all of you. I wanted to make sure you had one more excuse to skip class. Youre welcome.
I've never seen him exhibit anything BUT a condescending manner.
He has to reach out to them because he views them as voters that haven’t paid for his policies yet; I’m sure even working college students are feeling the pinch, and they must know that the last 2 graduating classes are still looking for work while the Kenyan Pirate exhorts them to volunteer...
Spot-on, tsomer. He has made this kind of remark before. I can’t remember the exact context, but I thought the same thing at the time. This attitude is so pervasive, and does more to undermine our future than any amount of education cuts.
And, those school loan payments are coming due. Look for Bwock to push for vote-buying forgiveness on those debts.
Bwock sez..."Why, we can't have the nation's youth straddled with a low-paying mall job AND these huge, unfair loans forced on them by the evil banks. We have to forgive these loans so that our youth can survive in today's economic upheaval...uh, the one created by George Bush and the Republicans."
He’s rather speak to the college students who will be graduating with a mountain of debt and no jobs. We need to hit the campuses and remind them of that.
I have heard that few folks were clapping during the speech. Slowly it is starting to dawn on these students that is what will happen to them come in a month or so.
Good point; those kids are now the sub-prime student loan market...
