Everything I Need to Know about President Donald Trump, I Learned by Watching The Apprentice
American Thinker ^ | April 11, 2011 | James Travis

When Meredith Vieira recently interviewed Donald Trump for NBC's Today show, she asked him whether he was concerned that people would have trouble taking him seriously as a presidential candidate. After all, she reasoned, here is a man who stars in his own television reality series. Who could possibly engender less gravitas than a TV reality show star?

Trump, of course, pointed to the success of the show as further evidence of his ability to be successful at anything and everything. But putting aside the irony of the question being asked by a network news anchor who is also a game show host (Vieira currently hosts Who Wants To Be a Millionaire?), we can learn a lot about President Donald Trump by watching Trump's shows, The Apprentice and The Celebrity Apprentice.

Trump can make a decision. The Donald's main function on the shows is to whittle down the field of contestants until only the winner remains. But what's important to observe is how he goes about making his decision each week. Watching Trump choose whom to fire is a study in decision-making. Trump is measured and patient. Trump consults with experts. Trump seeks opinions from everyone involved: teammates, the opposition, his own trusted advisers, and customers. He withholds judgment until he has all the facts, but once he has the information he needs, he renders his decision swiftly and confidently. Trump's trademark phrase -- "You're fired!" -- is now iconic in the American lexicon. When it's too close to call, Trump isn't afraid to go with his gut.

My screen name derives from The Adventures of Huckleberry Finnby Mark Twain. It has nothing to do with Huckabee.

Trump is what we need NOW to keep the stain and his sycophants on the defensive. I JUST DON’T GET THE NAYSAYERS.

I say never look a gift horse in the mouth.
The Donald is bloodying up the Kenyan. Trump landing punches, Obama's face is looking like raw hamburger meat. No one else has dared too partly due to the racial angle. So far the mass media has not had the gumption to call Trump a racist because he will hit back on that kind of accusation.
Some freepers are happy to see what Trump is doing but say they won't ever vote for him. Then you get the "stuck on stupids" that want nothing to do with the Donald. So far two Obama attack dogs have flamed out. That Poofter guy and Gail Collins. Donny likes to hit back at liberal phonies!

“Rangel was cut from the same cloth as his predecessor. But until and unless he is tossed, it would behoove those with property interests in NYC to remain in his good graces. If that requires greasing the skids, so be it.

“I’m not inclined to hold Trump responsible for the corrupt system in which he must do business. Getting on his case for such donations—which he probably views as a cost of doing business—is a bit like criticizing Exxon for paying off a foreign official for letting their tankers into port etc.”

Thank you DrC. You are correct. I’ve been wanting to say something similar for sometime.

For those of you who don’t understand this, the reason he gives more to the Democrats is that there are more crooks among them and not because he loves them more.

“In politics there are no friends or enemies, only those who can hurt you or help you.”

Well said...something that is lost with some Freepers.
