Donald Trump could appeal to economic conservatives, while Sarah Palin has deep roots among social conservatives and tea party types. Put that together, and you might have a winning coalition.

Should Donald Trump and Sarah Palin run together as a shovel-ready Republican presidential ticket?
We bring this up because over the weekend, the ex-governor of Alaska gave the current reality-show star an attaboy for his embrace of “birtherism.” You know, the school of thought that holds that President Obama was not born in the United States and therefore is not eligible for the job he now has, constitutionally speaking.
“I appreciate that ‘The Donald’ wants to spend his resources in getting to the bottom of something that so interests him and many Americans – you know, more power to him,” Ms. Palin said Saturday on Fox News’s “Justice With Judge Jeanine.” “He’s not just throwing stones from the sidelines; he’s digging in there. He’s paying for researchers to find out why President Obama would have spent $2 million to not show his birth certificate.”
For the record, we’ll note that there is lots of evidence that Mr. Obama was born in Hawaii and that birthers tend to wave this aside. But right now, we’re more interested in the Trump-Palin mind-meld that appears to be occurring. Don’t you think their political personas would complement each other? They could be the Cagney and Lacey – or the Starsky and Hutch – of the upcoming GOP primary season....

Not much I like about Trump except that he’s brash and doesn’t give a $hit what he says . . . but I saw him on the View reach over and pat Karin Johnson’s (Whoopie Goldberg) hand to reassure her that they were still friends. Anyone who’d be a friend of that miserable beast would be suspect.
I’d much rather have Bolton/Palin as the ticket. Where’s Ollie North when you need him?
I’d like to think Sarah has more integrity than to run with Trump.

If we could be sure that Trump would never be President some time in the future, he’d make a great Vice President.
He’s the anti-Biden. Instead of being gaffe-prone, he’s a great speaker, who could pretty much force the lamestream press to report what he said.
Sarah could do the presiding, and Trump could be rolled out whenever the press got too uppity.
I’d rather have West as Veep, but I think Donald would be good at the job.
But NOT President. He’s not a real conservative, and he can’t be trusted to stick to principles. But he can certainly outtalk the opposition.

Trump will get us on track economically , and West will handle the Muzzies , military , etc...4 years of Trump and then West takes over .
I think Trump should choose himself as his own running mate. That way we will have a balanced ticket - The new supposedly conservative Trump at the head of the ticket and the Harry Reid loving Trump as his running mate.
Now if we could only get someone sane on the ticket.
Think West would be great at Secretary of Defense. Not sure about VP yet.
