The fellow responsible for replacing the steering wheel is not allowed to use screws or bolts. The guy responsible for screws and bolts was not allowed to work on replacement steering wheels only on the original steering wheel. . . on and on it goes.

That sounds funny but the work rules are just about that bad. Here is a picture of the UAM-Ford contract. It only takes a few pages to detail pay and benefits. All the rest of that is "work rules".

DAMMIT, I WANT HEARINGS! I WANT EVERY EXECUTIVE OF GM CALLED ON THE CARPET! I WANT FAMILIES OF PEOPLE WHO DIED IN CHEVYS BROUGHT UP TO TELL OF THEIR PAIN! I WANT HUSSEIN TO BE FORCED TO TESTIFY WHY HE GAVE MONEY TO SUCH A CRUEL CAR COMPANY!

Not Made in America, but Made in UAW (Union-America is Un-America).

Unions are almost as bad as the government.

But, GM is BETTER now that OBAMA took over!
Or so you’d think from the morons who push the Chevy Botl, er, Volt.
Yes, we have a few mind numbed morons on FR here who think that the Volt is just the best thing evah.
Chevy quality has dropped like a rock, and is getting worse.
Just wait until those I mentioned show up and try to excuse this crap construction.
