I'd be interested in the sharks opinions of what the sheriff can do, *legally* speaking...yer previous analysis of the possibilities for the governors to force the feds hand with a militia unit, could that be applied locally in the form of deputizing an army to force state and fed response ???
i know that sheriff joe has been deputizin alot of Arizonans, surely texas could muster some firepower too ???

I’m under the impression that County Sheriff’s in all states are able to deputize like Sheriff Joe but don’t know that for a fact.

Not Constitutionally... the deputizing-and-arresting plan has been effectively gutted with the precedence of stay places on AZ’s SB1070 (as it *was* for the allowing of States/localities to enforce federal law) as far as most Americans are concerned.
