Donald Trump fires back after White House aide declares that he has 'zero chance' to be President
New YorK Daily News ^ | 04/11/2011 | Lukas I. Alpert

The White House stopped just short of dismissing Donald Trump as a clown Sunday - calling him a "sideshow" act with "zero chance" of becoming president.

SNIP

Trump countered that he represents Obama's biggest nightmare in the 2012 race and that the White house is running scared.

"I know for a fact that I am the only candidate they are concerned with," Trump told The Daily News. "They are very concerned because I am challenging him as to whether or not he was born in this country where there is a real doubt."

"He should focus on properly dealing with the Chinese, the Saudis and all of the other nations that are ripping off the United States instead of making up quotes about Donald Trump," the "Apprentice" host blustered on. "Barack Obama has done a terrible job as president."

While Trump is not viewed as having a real chance at winning the presidency, experts say his remarks cut to the core of what irks the White House the most, which explains the hostility behind Plouffe's diss.

"There is no issue that irritates the White House more than the birther issue," said Larry Sabato, director of the University of Virginia's Center for Politics.

"They view it as a symbol for those who refuse to acknowledge Obama as a legitimate president," he said. "The fact that someone as prominent as Trump is bringing this up is a source of real frustration."

Sabato predicted that despite the noise Trump is making, he would soon fade away.

Trump is just a bit short of the level of wealth or pedigree it takes to get voted into the elites club..notice how they court guys like zuckerburg and gates and eventually they take a seat at the table. A guy like Trump is the level of wealth these leftists will destroy and I think Trump knows this.

No doubt...this is going to be a fun battle to watch.

LOL! I'm already making popcorn!

I'm never quite sure whether I like Trump or not, but I DO respect him.

At least he has the stones to speak to us like we're adults instead of trying to spoon feed us the pc-laden slop the politicrats do!

The Obama-bots did The Donald a favor by bashing him on Sunday. Now Trump had all work week to slam back. Nothing screams “I got into college via affirmative action” like Obama’s constant use of teleprompters. Trump ought to make fun of Obama’s teleprompter use this week.

And what’s with that fey little guy Plouffe they trotted out? Big mistake

Obama has not yet officially declared himself a candidate.

I thought he launched it on the web a week ago? Maybe I missed something? If he didn't declare yet, he still may bow out of running for a second term for personal reasons. Nixon stepped down for much less of a cover up. If it is discovered that he IS a fraud, he and all who covered for him are in deep trouble.

“the “Apprentice” host blustered on.”

In the perfect brainless paradise of the the New York Daily News, does obuma ever “bluster on?” Does any democrat ever “bluster?”

How about Mao? Did he ever “bluster” in his 30 year tyranny? Stalin? Hitler? Did they “bluster?”

Some “newspapers” need to be given 24 hours to leave town or else...”

“Sabato predicted that despite the noise Trump is making, he would soon fade away”. ********* I’m sure all the pundits and talking heads wish Trump would fade away. The more they laugh at Trump the stronger he gets. They’re worried and p!ssed that Trump isn’t towing the “elitist line”. Larry Sabato says himself that no other issue irritates the WH more, so then Larry, WHY WOULD Trump drop this issue? How out of touch as these so called pundits, man oh man, they have NO idea what the citizens of this country are all about.

*****

Obama could probably make Trump fade away tomorrow if he would just release his long form birth certificate today.

But, then again, if Obama dared to release his long form birth certificate today, there is a good chance that Obama himself would fade away tomorrow once the public got a look at Obama's long form birth certificate and discovered that Obama had been lying about his background and his birth certificate all along.

So, I don't see Obama voluntarily releasing a copy of his long form birth certificate any time soon, if ever.

“Zero chance”? Lulz, given that the AnnointedIdiot came out of nowhereland, otherwise called the god of community organizers, I would have figured that the AnnointedIdiot had “zero chance,” as well. /s =.=

I think Trump is also digging into other areas of Obama/Barry’s background. He brought up Rezko in a Fox interview this morning.

Consider this ... the GOP Congress we just elected are ineffectual. They’ve been utterly pathetic so far.

Mr. Trump is NOT a lawyer, nor is he a career politician. The R’s have been to afraid to say what needs to be said and Mr. Trump is going for Obama’s achille’s heel.

Right now, America needs a cunning business man to fix it. We don’t need another lawyer, or social worker at the moment.

The critics are right about Trump.
He has about as much chance at being elected President as a secretive black guy with a muslim name(post 911) with no real experience .......oh....wait.....

There are very few political pundits out there that are not full of themselves.

Barone is one exception that comes to mind, but the likes of Sabato, Morris, O’Reilly, etc are raging egomaniacs.

Fox has been giving him lots of face time. It would be hilarious if Trump and Rupert Murdoch have been talking. Murdoch despises Soros and his crowd and maybe Trump does too.
